Celebrate Today - Birthday Card

This is a card a made for my husband's birthday ... he's an avid deer hunter. I never seem to be happy with the cards I make for men and wasn't sure I liked this one at all, but it's growing on me. I used my Gypsy to create the layout. The deer is from Gypsy Wandering, the tree is from Wild Card, the fence is from Paper Doll Dress Up and the clouds are from Hello Kitty Greetings. The sentiment is a stamp from Papertrey Ink's Mega Mixed Messages set. I finished it off with some inking and doodling. You'll notice there's not even a little bit of ribbon, and I'm okay with that ... kind of!

Oh I really like it! The deer is awesome and I love that little fence. Men cards are hard...I love to use frills!

Well, Jo, I'm sure he's going to love it! My hubby is a hunter as well, and if it has a deer on it, he's happy! I love the little scene you created. It's a fun, happy card! And now, you can break out the ribbon again! LOL!

What a great card Jo, you really do come up with some stunners using your Cricut. Makes me realise I do not get half enough use from mine.

I passed the hig on the George, he had a great day, lots of treats and chews and of course the other three thought it was their birthday as well and shared the goodies.
